One of the leading aspirants for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency seat under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun also known as Hon Tiamy has commended the Men of the Nigerian Armed Forces as they marked their day especially those distinguished veterans who paid the supreme sacrifice to keep the country united while some others have spent the best part of their lives in Service to keep our nation and the world in peace.
Hon Tiamy in a statement released by his Media Office in Ibadan said that there is need for Nigerians to cast their minds back at the events that led to the civil war, the immense human capital loss of the tragic war.
"I want to personally salute the gallantry, courage and sacrifices of men and women of the Armed Forces as they grapple with diverse and contemporary security challenges plaguing the country at the moment.
"I appreciate their display of unparalleled loyalty to the country and dedication to duty because it is on the floor of their sacrifices that youths like us can stand bold to contest for one electoral post or the order.
"However, the noble culture of appreciation and respect for veterans and servicemen and women experienced all over the world is very much part of us in Nigeria", Hon Tiamy concluded.
Meanwhile, it is worthy to note that the resolve by Nigerian countrymen and women to remain in one indivisible and indissoluble nation, Nigeria is at the centre of this celebration.
