A Federal House of Representative hopeful from Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency in the coming 2023 General Elections under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Honourable Oloye Abiodun Surajudeen also known as Hon Tiamy has congratulated Nigerian Muslims, most especially Akinyele/Lagelu constituents and expressed the wish for personal sacrifices to be duly rewarded by Allah as they celebrated the end of Ramadan fasting.
In his Eid-el Fitr message released in Ibadan on Sunday evening by his Media Aide Mr Sanusi Abdullahi Oyelekan to Muslim faithful, Hon Tiamy congratulated them for a fruitful Ramadan season and wished that the prayers for peace and personal sacrifices of the faithful be rewarded as the fasting period ends.
According the release: “I join well-wishers in wishing the Muslim Ummah a happy Eid-el-Fitr as we mark the end of Ramadan.
“It is also my sincere desire that the prayers for peace and personal sacrifices of the faithful be rewarded as the fasting period ends. I also urge solidarity with the Muslim faithful so that Nigeria can continue to enjoy peaceful coexistence.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, it is my hope and prayer that Ramadan’s spiritual lessons and the Holy Prophet’s teachings of piety, love, justice, fairness, equity, peaceful co-existence with others, tolerance, honesty and dedication to duty will remain with us all for the benefit and greater glory of our dear nation. May the lessons and blessings of the Holy Month also permeate into us all, and positively influence our attitudes towards our fellow countrymen and women, irrespective of their religion or places of origin; and promote greater commitment to the peace, unity and stability of the nation", Hon Tiamy urged.
