A Chieftain of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy has congratulated the new Oyo State Deputy Governor, Barrister Bayo Lawal.
Speaking to the Newsmen in Ibadan on Monday evening via his Special Assistant on Media, Mr Sanusi Abdullahi Oyelekan, the Distinguished Honourable Tiamy said, Barrister Bayo Lawal is a proud and worthy product of the PDP, a gentleman to the core and a consistent democrat who has enjoyed the confidence of his people from Oke Ogun over the years.
The statement reads, "I'm wholeheartedly congratulating the new Deputy Governor in our dear Oyo state, Barrister Bayo Lawal.
"With the little I knew about Barrister Lawal, he is a proud and worthy product of the PDP, a gentleman to the core and a consistent democrat who has enjoyed the confidence of his people from Oke Ogun over the years.
"It is evident of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State Engr Seyi Makinde's readiness to coast to victory in the forthcoming General elections, and to provide good governance to Oyo State.
"This is because His Excellency Engr Seyi Makinde knows his onions for choosing to run with Barrister Lawal in the first instance," Hon Tiamy said.
While congratulating the new New Deputy Governor, the Distinguished Honourable Tiamy wished him well in discharging his office duties.
