Prof. Wahab Egbewole has been named the University of Ilorin’s new vice chancellor.
At a press conference conducted in the university’s council chamber on Thursday night, the Governing Council introduced Wahab as the new vice chancellor.
Mallam Abidu Yasid, the Chairman of the university’s governing council, made the declaration.
Egbewole succeeds Professor Sulyman Abdulkareem, whose term will end on October 15, 2022, as the university’s 12th vice chancellor.
According to Yasid, Professor Egbewole was found after the council’s rigorous scrutiny of 13 lecturers over the course of the previous four days.
Egbewole is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a Professor of International Law and Jurisprudence.
