The Special Adviser to Gov Makinde On Education Intervention, Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy has congratulated Nigerians for witnessing the New Year 2024 despite the challenges of the past year.
In his New Year message on Monday Morning and released in Ibadan to the newsmen by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Sanusi Abdullahi Oyelekan, Hon Tiamy urged Nigerians to keep hope alive in this new year 2024.
Hon Tiamy who also extended the complementary greetings to Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Oyo State and the entire People's Democratic Party (PDP) members in the country upon completion of the year 2023, saying it takes God’s glory to scale through the challenging year 2023.
He said, Nigerians should use the experiences of the preceding year 2023, which he described as a very challenging one to work towards a better 2024.
Hon Tiamy said, he was optimistic that the new year 2024 holds a lot of possibilities for Nigeria and Nigerians, hence the need for the citizens to remain positive.
While calling for continuous unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, Honourable Tiamy said: “we have no other country than Nigeria; this is the only country we can call ours.
“It is my hope and prayer that this new year 2024 will be better than all the preceding years of our nation’s history.
"In this New Year, let’s remain resolute and determined in our nationhood. Yes, we may be going through many challenges especially in the of economy and insecurity as a nation, but with our collective determinations, we shall overcome,” Tiamy said.
Tiamy urged all Nigerian Nationals home and abroad to remain positive in all their words and actions because there is great power in the sayings and doings.
