As Muslims throughout the world search for Lailatul-Qadr, Imam IbnulQayyim Islamic Foundation in collaboration with Winnipeg Ta'alim Community, Canada on Monday, 1st April, 2024 distributed foodstuffs as 1445A.H Ramadan Welfare Package for over two hundred fasting families both in Ilorin and Ibadan capital and Ibadan respectively.
The Ramadan Welfare Package disbursed to each family contains rice, beans, semovita, vegetable oil and tomato paste.
In Ibadan, twenty-two (22) bags of rice, three (3) bags of beans, twenty-five (25) bags of semovita, ten (10) cartoons of vegetable oil and twelve (12) cartoons of tomato paste were distributed at Muflihun Schools, Ajibola Street, beside Alaafia Bread Bakery, Muslim-Mosfala Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
While in Ilorin, eight (8) bags of rice, two (2) bags of beans, eight (8) bags of semovita, eight (8) packs of spaghetti, seven (7) cartoons of groundnut oil and four (4) cartoons of tin tomato were distributed at Apalara, Adeta Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.
While speaking to our correspondent in Ibadan, the IbnulQayyim foundation's Director, Ustādh Rasheed Haashim explained that that was the third phase of Ramadan Welfare Package during the ongoing 1445A.H Ramadan.
According to him: "Today's Ramadan Welfare Package wouldn't have been achievable were it not for huge amount of money donated by brethren from Winnipeg Ta'alim Community, Canada. May Allah keep them upon righteousness.
"So, I'm expressing my heartfelt appreciation to members of Winnipeg Ta'alim Community, Canada for the trust reposed in the foundation I pray Allah should continue enriching their pockets.
"I specially appreciate Ustādh AbdulKabeer Abdus-Salam (Abu Roqeebah), Malam Abdus-Samad Agbomeji and Ilorin as well as Ibadan teams who successfully organised the welfare package in these two major cities for their enormous contributions to the success recorded in today's welfare package", Ustadh Hashim Eulogized.

He assured the donors and Zakat payers of judicious use of their donations as the motto of the foundation still remains: "Caring for the less privileged with fear of Allah" and ending his remarks by supplicating to Allah to reward all the sponsors and supporters of Imam IbnulQayyim Foundation's activities with Firdaws.
