Honourable Tiamy Felicitates Hon Kamorudeen, Akinleye, Onifade, Olatunji, Other Newly Sworn-in LGA Chairmen, Calls For Grassroot Developments

The Special Adviser to Gov Makinde On Education Intervention, Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy has extended warm congratulations to Honourable Kamorudeen Mudashiru of Lagelu, Honourable Wole Akinleye of Akinyele, Hon Seun Olufade of Ibadan North, Honourable Akeem Olatunji of Oluyole and other newly sworn in Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State on their assumption of office.

Hon Tiamy who spoke to newsmen on Sunday urged all political stakeholders in the Local Government areas to join hands with the newly sworn-in Chairmen and Councillors to move the Local Government Areas forward.


According to him, unity and collectivity are sacrosanct for developments to thrive hence, all hands must be on deck.

In his words, “I want to sincerely congratulate all the newly sworn-in Local Government Chairmen especially, Honourable Kamorudeen Mudashiru of Lagelu, Honourable Wole Akinleye of Akinyele, Hon Seun Olufade of Ibadan North and Honourable Akeem Olatunji of Oluyole Local Government Areas.

"Politics is gone while good governance remains as good people of Oyo State are expecting more dividends of democracy from the grassroots.”

He stated that, Oyo State interest is bigger than any individual interest hence politics of bitterness should be jettisoned for good governance to strive.

“I pray Almighty gives you all the enablements to pilot the affairs to an enviable level. It is our prayers that Oyo State grassroot developmental trends be recorded as the fastest and a place where all and sundry will want to invest and partake in it,” he added.
