The Eti-Osa Local Government Ward D Councillorship Hopeful, Hon Amodu Taofeek Ologolo has congratulated Nigerians over the celebration of 64th Independence Day while urging the youths to embrace unity and peaceful co-existence their domain and remain peaceful in their dealings.
Hon Taofeek called on his fellow youths to maintain unity, faith and hope as preached by Nigeria’s founding fathers.
This was contained in a Press statement signed and released to the newsmen on Tuesday by his Media team.
He noted that even though, Nigeria recently became the world headquarters for extreme poverty, he hoped the people will overcome the tough times.
“But I know even much more that tough times never last but tough people do. And Nigerians are a resilient people. Evidence of that abounds in our strength in adversity and most especially amongst my fellow youths who continue to make Nigeria proud.
“So if I have to summarise my message to Nigerians on this our 64th Independence Day, I would do it in one sentence: Things will get better. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria and all her people,” he said.
