An Aspirant for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency,
Honourable Oloye Abiodun Suraj also known as Hon Tiamy has on Thursday 20th
January, 2022 extended his sympathy to the Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local
Government, Hon Kazeem Gbadamosi Adeyemi over the fire outbreak at the Council
Headquarters where no casualty was recorded.
A statement by Hon Tiamy’s Media Office said Tiamy was
deeply saddened by the incident and thanked God for not recording any loss of
valuable property to the
inferno.
Hon Tiamy urged everyone to beware of bush burning that was capable of causing unfortunate fire incidents especially around government properties.
According to him, “On behalf of my family and
Tiamy’s Support Group and the good people of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal
Constituency that I intend to represent come 2023, we commiserate with our Executive
Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Hon Kazeem Gbadamosi on this tragic
incident and thank God that no casualty was recorded. And we want to urge those
setting bushes on fire to beware of government buildings”, the statement read.
The fire incident
according to the Council Chairman, Hon Kazeem was observed to be caused by
those setting bushes on fire in order to trap bush animals.
