IBADAN BULLION VAN ROBBERY: Hon Tiamy Commiserates With Victims, Calls For Community Policing

An Aspirant for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Honourable Oloye Abiodun Suraj also known as Hon Tiamy has on Saturday 12th February 2022 commiserated with the victims of Idi Ape Bullion Van attack that occurred on Thursday 10th February, 2022. He described the incident where one civilian and two other police officers met their end as unfortunate and sad. 



Hon Tiamy in his commiseration message released in Ibadan by his Media Office sypathised with one of the victims, Mr Sulaiman Mubarak Olanrewaju in particular, he described the death of Mubarak as a great loss to Ibadan, Oyo State in particular and Nigeria in general.






In his words, "This is a very unfortunate incident that throws every citizen into mourning state as one Mr Sulaiman Mubarak Olanrewaju also answered the call of his Maker through the sad incident.



"We really need to establish a strong community policing that will also be of great help to the Nigerian police and other security agencies.



"I'm particularly sad to hear the sudden death of one Mr Sulaiman Mubarak Olanrewaju who was hit by stray bullet in his car and died on the spot.



"The loss of the young chap is a great loss to Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria in general because Mr Sulaiman was so instrumental to this society as described by his friends and associates.



"I commiserate with his wife, children, family, friends and associates and I pray may God grant him aljanah firdaus.



"I also commiserate with the Chief Security Officer of our dear state, His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State and the entire people of Oyo State on the loss of two Police Officers during the course of their duty. May God console their families and associates,' Tiamy prayed.
