It was a great excitement on Saturday evening as Tiamy FC beat Gifted FC to qualify for semi-finals.
The Tiamy FC team made its owner, Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy proud to qualify for Semi-final of the competition.
Hon Tiamy who was at the Anglican Central School Pitch at Lalupon to cheer up his team said, with the good outing his team had shown, he was convinced that his team would beat to the final and top all other teams just as His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde was set to top all others in the forthcoming governorship race in Oyo state.
Also speaking with newsmen after the match, Tiamy FC coach Mr Ibrahim Olowoake said, that was not the first match for his team to win, saying one of the best teams in that competition was Tiamy FC.
While reacting to the event, Gifted FC coach, Mr Kehinde Kazeem said, Tiamy FC is one of the toughest teams since the beginning of the competition saying, despite the fact that he believed so much in his own team but beating Tiamy FC had always been difficult.
The highlight of the match was the quarter final game having got to draw after second half of the time of the game led to Penalty kick between the two football teams while Tiamy FC beat Gifted FC with 4 to 3.
