OYRTMA RECRUITMENT: MAKINDE SAYS APPLICANTS TO BE SHORTLISTED SOON.

The Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has lifted the ban on the yet to be concluded recruitment exercise conducted by the Oyo State Road Transport Management Authority (OYRTMA) over a year ago.

The agency had announced the recruitment of Officers to fill the existing vacancies on 14th January, 2022 as approved by the Governor.

Glad Tidings news that followed the process from inception confirmed that over 30,000 People applied for the recruitment exercise.

Governor Makinde, while reacting to a question on why the exercise is yet to be concluded for over a year by anonymous caller during a town Hall meeting with stakeholders organized by Fresh FM Ibadan.


Governor confirmed that truly, vacancies exist in the agency and that recruitment exercise was conducted last year and promised to unravel reasons for the delay but assured that successful applicants will be shortlisted soon.
