Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy has expressed confidence that Ona-Ara Local Government was a home to the People's Democratic Party (PDP) given the warmest welcome received by His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Saturday from the Ona-Ara Local Government residents during the campaign train to the Local Government Area.
Hon Tiamy stated this while speaking with the newsmen through his Publicity and Media aide, Mr Sanusi Abdullahi Oyelekan at the campaign ground during the Omituntun 2.0 campaign to the area.

In his statement: "We are so happy with the warm welcome given to us and our Principal, Engr Seyi Makinde by the residents of Ona-Ara Local Government as an evidence of good governance.
"This, without doubt is a show of love and a huge support from the people of Ona-Ara Local Government Area towards the Omituntun 2.0 project.
