Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy of Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency has sent his congratulatory messages to the Oyo State Governor-elect, His Excellency, Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, on winning the keenly contested governorship election.
Honourable Tiamy extended the warmest felicitations to the People's Democratic Party (PDP)'s state, Local Government and Ward campaign teams that worked assiduously to guarantee the victory at the just concluded polls.

Tiamy's Media and Publicity aide, Sanusi Abdullahi Oyelekan said in a signed statement made available to the newsmen in Ibadan on Sunday evening.
"I congratulate the People's Governor, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde on this feat.
“And thank you Oyo State for supporting good governance by re-electing our Principal, His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde. I assure you that we will continue to work for the progress and prosperity of this pace setter state as usual.”
“And I want to use this opportunity to congratulate the Oyo State residents for speaking up through the ballots and that, they should expect more commitments to delivering results that directly impact their lives and families in this Omituntun 2.0,” he added.

Tiamy also described the exercise as the most free, fair and successful contest. He also commended all contestants in the election for putting in their best to be elected to serve the state saying, it is only God that appointed Leaders.
He, however, affirmed that the successful election in the State further strengthened the democratic culture in the country, extolling INEC for, once again, making the country proud.
