Barely few weeks after the distributions of Ramadan food packages to the less advantaged persons in Abẹ́òkúta, Ogun State, The HelpLine Global Welfare had on Salah Day gladdened widows' hearts across the South Western part of the country with cash disbursement.
The programme which was designed to ameliorate situation of the less advantaged persons in the society and to give them joy during the Salah period.
One of the cash beneficiaries, Mrs Adeniji Kafilat aged 65 from Abẹ́òkúta, Ogun State commended the efforts of this charity foundation and prayed that God continued to be its guide.
Another beneficiary, Mrs Muibat Shittu aged 52 from Shaki, Oyo State said, she was so amazing that she was among the the selected beneficiaries without knowing anyone among the organizers, called on well to do individuals in the society to contribute immensely to this cause in order to make meaningful impacts in the lives of others.
While speaking, another beneficiary from Ìjẹ̀bú Òde, Ogun State, Mrs Muinat Abdwaasi aged 45 said, the cash received was not only huge but also came as a surprise to her. She said, it was a surprise to her as she didn't expect to be selected because it was a normal thing for some people or groups to collect her account details and eventually got nothing.
Speaking on behalf of the HelpLine Global Welfare Director, Alhaji Jamiu Adeyanju, the SouthWest Coordinator of the group, Malam Sanusi Abdullahi, expressed joy and happiness that God was using the foundation to ease the affairs of some individuals in the society no matter how small it seemed to be and according to Malam Sanusi, nothing less than 50 widows were randomly selected across the South West Nigeria and transferred the money to them individually without any connection.
He later urged wealthy individuals to get involved and generously donate to foundation's bank account details as the foundation was being handled by the people with fear of God.
