Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy has on Saturday morning commended the Oyo State Governor, His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde over the approval of the dualization of Akobo-Ojurin- Olorunda Abaa/Odogbo Barracks by N.O Idowu College on Friday as previously promised by the Governor during the Commissioning of a Divisonal Police Headquarters built in Lagelu Local Government area by Agba Akin of Olorunda-Abaa, Chief Benedict Akika.
Tiamy said, Engr Seyi Makinde administration’s huge investment in basic infrastructure across the state would serve as the catalyst for rapid economic growth of the State.
Hon Tiamy in a commendation letter released and signed in Ibadan on Saturday Morning by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Sanusi Abdullahi Oyelekan, Tiamy said, investment in major infrastructure has increased the economic viability of Oyo State.
"I will first of all commend our boss, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde on huge investment in the development of the state in general.
"And on the good road network, it is very important because lack of basic infrastructures, such as good roads that can reduce the cost of goods delivery, and facilitate the physical mobility of people and products, has previously been the bane of investment flow in parts of the state.

"But, with huge resources committed to expanding the roads network in all parts of Oyo State and enhanced security in the past three years under Governor Seyi Makinde's administration, it is a no doubt that, our state has become attractive to investors across the globe". Tiamy reiterated.
