A renowned Islamic scholar, Fadeelatul Sheikh Dr Surajudeen Bilal Al-Asrau (PhD) has enjoined all the Muslim couples to embrace Islamic customs in the midst of Nigeria's economic challenges as that is the best solution to the present situation in the country.
The renowned Islamic scholar who is a Director of Inaayatullahi Arabic Institute, Iwo, Osun State stated this today while delivering a Lecture at a One-Day Marriage Seminar organized by the Organization Of Tadhamunul Muslimeen (OTM) in Conjunction with Al-Akhwaatul Muslimat (Ikeja Branch) held at Oluwole Central Mosque, Ogba, Lagos themed "FAMILY RESILIENCE DURING ECONOMIC CRISIS: INSIGHTS FROM ISLAMIC SOLUTION".
In his statement: "There is need for all homes to embracing Islamic teachings in the midst of economic crisis as the best solution.
"This resilience would come from two pillars (husband and wife) as this will definitely reflect on society at large.
"Husbands are encouraged to be patient with their wife/wives while wives too should always be considerate when demanding for their rights because it is their right to be taking good care of by their husbands," he said
Dr Asrau further added that there were many cases when the house of the noblest of humankind Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would be without foodstuffs while his wives were always enduring with him as stated in the Qur'an Chapter 66 verse 5 among other verses of Qur'an and traditions of the Prophet as quoted by him.
Also speaking during the Seminar, the second Speaker Ustadh Ismail Animashaun from Ibadan said, women are so fragile to be hard on.
Ustadh Animashaun said, men should deal with their women softly especially when one doesn't the demands of his woman at that moment.
"Allah orders Muslims to be patient and persevered at all times especially when dealing our wives because that's the greatest Sunnah one should embrace as it is integral part of peaceful homes which eventually leads to peaceful communities.
''Also, Muslim homes should be prayerful towards having better homes as our homes should be good examples to other people's homes," Ustadh Animashaun reiterated.
