It was indeed a joyous moment as Imam IbnulQayyim Islamic Foundation in the second batch of 1445 Ramadan Welfare Package distributed seven (7) bags of rice, six (6) bags of semovita, four (4) cartoons of vegetable oil and three (3) cartoons of tomato paste for over fifty families today Wednesday, 27th March, 2024 at Muflihun Schools, Ajibola Street, beside Alaafia Bread Bakery, Muslim-Mosfala Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The foundation's Director, Ustādh Rasheed Haashim explained that this is the second batch of 1445 Ramadan Welfare Package organised by the foundation's board of trustees and stakeholders. The first batch was held in Ibadan, Oyo State on Thursday, 14th March, 2023 where over one hundred families were catered for. This is not by our making but by Allah and then generous contributions of donors within and outside the country contributed immensely to the accomplishment of the project. Proceeds from fidyah constituted part of this second batch of Ramadan Welfare Package.
The beneficiaries profoundly appreciated the foundation supplicating to Allah to continue enriching the donors and strengthening the management of the foundation.
Ustādh Haashim appreciated foundation's board of trustees, monthly donors and all the donors in this 1445 Ramadan Welfare Package. He profoundly appreciated members of Islamic Discussion WhatsApp Groups and members of Unilomga WhatsApp Forum.
Ustādh Haashim then urged wealthy people to support the foundation in all her charitable activities by donating generously to the foundation's Jaiz Bank account number: 0011843672 or join the team of monthly donors. Those who wish to pay Zakat can as well transfer it to the foundation's Jaiz Bank account above.
He assured donors and Zakat payers of judicious use of their donations as the motto of the foundation still remains: "Caring for the less privileged with fear of Allah."
He ended his remarks by supplicating to Allah to reward all the sponsors and supporters of Imam IbnulQayyim Foundation's activities with Firdaws.
