Youths under the aegis of the Oyo State Progressive Youth Ambassadors (PYA) on Friday 14th February, 2025 troop out en masse to stage a 10,000 Man 'Unity Walk' for President Bola Tinubu and Nigeria’s unity.
The 'Unity Walk' which took place in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, saw the youths marching many kilometres from Oke-Ado roundabout towards Mokola roundabout, singing solidarity songs in support of the President’s reforms and the Renewed Hope Agenda as well as continuity beyond 2027.

The Convener, who's also the Oyo State Chairman of the group, Ambassador Oyedepo Olatunde Mattahas said they embarked on Unity march to drum up support for Tinubu’s reform agenda and continuity beyond 2027.
Oyedepo stated: “We are marching in solidarity for President Bola Tinubu to enjoin detractors to make sacrifices for the nation instead insinuating disunity by any form. We sue for peace and progress of this great nation.
“We commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who has gone beyond heels to sustain many sectors like the economy, education, infrastructure among others that have direct impacts on Nigerian people".
He further noted: “As we reflect on the sacrifices, hurdles and struggles with the reforms of our dear nation under the Leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we are solemn yet hopeful to the positive narratives of President Tinubu-led Renewed Hope Agenda.
“As patriotic citizens, we commend our founding fathers and mothers. Without them, there would be no modern Nigeria. From the fading embers of colonialism, their activism, dedication, and leadership gave life to the belief in Nigeria as a sovereign and independent nation.
“Under the administration of President Tinubu, the travails we have endured as a nation shall strengthen us and no other nations or powers on this earth shall keep us from our rightful place and destiny.
“As youths in this country, we acknowledge the yearnings and aspirations of our people to be in the mantle of leadership, so we are in dire need of federal government presence in all sectors.
“We are confident in the working abilities of President Tinubu and his team working assiduously to rebuild the confidence of Nigerians.”
Ambassador Oyedepo lauded the President for implementing a series of transformative policies and reforms designed to address the missteps of the past and set Nigeria to emerge as a formidable economic superpower in the near future.
He said despite global economic headwinds and the transitional pains accompanying some of the reforms, the President had remained focused in his efforts towards reviving the economy and returning the country to the path of prosperity and sustainable growth.
Gracing the occasion, Pya National Chairman (Amb. Kayode David), Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Oyo State APC Women Leader, Alhaja, APC Oyo State Youth Leader, Ibadan North Federal House of Representatives Aspirants and top APC dignitaries among all APC members within Oyo State and its environs.
