The Progressive Youth Ambassadors (PYA) Oyo State Chapter through its Chairman Ambassador Oyedepo Olatunde Mattahas has described the Unity Walk Sponsorship claim by an Ibadan North Federal Constituency Aspirant, Hon Oluyinka Abiodun Omikunle as appalling and outrageous.
This came after Hon Omikunle went on his social media handles saying, he powered the recent PYA Oyo State Unity Walk for President Bola Tinubu.
Ambassador Mattahas described the audacious claim of Hon Omikunle purporting to have sponsored the Unity Walk held in Ibadan in support of President Bola Tinubu beyond 2027.
According to PYA Chairman statement, "This egregious act of impersonation and deceit is a blatant attempt to usurp the hard work and dedication of our organization. We demand that Hon. Omikunle immediately retract his false claims by deleting every single post, tweet, and social media update that suggests he sponsored the event.
"Also, we expect a formal apology to our PYA Media Team within the next 48 hours which failure to comply with this demand will result in swift and decisive legal actions. We will not hesitate to take Hon. Omikunle to court for his impersonating claim, which have caused harm to our organization's reputation and credibility", he said.
