MUSWEN FECILATES TINUBU’S VICTORY, RAINS PRAYERS ON THE PRESIDENT-ELECT.

 

The Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) has sent its congratulatory message to the President-Elect, Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory in the just concluded elections.

The MUSWEN which is the Umbrella Body of all Muslim organisations and the voice of all Muslims in the six (6) South West  states of Nigeria-Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Oyo.

 

This was contained in a congratulatory letter signed and released in Ibadan by its President, who is also the Deputy President-General (South) of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo (FCS).

According to the letter, “we congratulate you, Your Excellency, our President-Elect because this is the first time MUSWEN would openly identify and canvass our members to unanimously vote for a particular candidate in any election. We unanimously endorsed you and Allah crowned it with huge success. Definitely, only Allah is worthy of praise.

“It has pleased Allah to put you in the saddle today. We urge you to please, deploy your widely-acknowledged management acumen to take Nigeria out of the woods.

“We pray Allah continues to guide your ways and thoughts. May He ease the task of governance for you and grant you long life in very sound health,” MUSWEN prays.
