Following the emergence of Honourable Mudashiru Kamorudeen as the concensus candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Lagelu Local Government in the forthcoming council polls in Oyo State, Honourable Oloye Suraj Abiodun Tiamy has congratulated him and expressed confidence in his emergence.
Honourable Tiamy stated this in a congratulatory message issued by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Sanusi Abdullahi Oyelekan in Ibadan on Monday.
He particularly commended His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde for allowing Party members to que behind their preferred candidates in Lagelu and other Local Government Areas in the state.
He said, “I heartily congratulate Honourable Mudashiru Kamorudeen over his Emergence as our Party's Flagbearer in this Lagelu Local Government.
“Truth be told that I have implicit confidence in Senator Kamorudeen that he will lead our party to another round of resounding victories in the coming council polls.
“Kamorudeen's victory is a testimony to the tremendous respect that he enjoys across the polity for his integrity, experience and leadership capacity.
"I believe in his suitability for piloting the affairs of our great Local Government, from this very important juncture. His astute administrator shows that our party has made a great choice in his emergence as our flagbearer,” Tiamy concluded.
